Just wondering if anyone knew what is going on in this card. I first assumed it was a photoshop job to cheesily say "the new ballpark is coming". Or was there some kind of pick-up game at the new place before the Nats moved in. I don't see any netting up behind the plate but they all seem to be protected by hard hats.

I am sure that there is a Nationals fan out there somewhere who can clear this one up for me. Thanks.

I have this card autographed. My thought was that during construction somebody put out a mat that looked like the batters box and had Maxwell jump in there to take some swings as a promo. I don't know why they wouldn't have had Ryan Zimmerman in there, but Maxwell is one of their best young hitting prospects and he aquitted himself well in a September 2007 call-up (doesn't that sound like language from the back of a ballcard?).
However, I am not a Nats fan and do not know what's going on with this card.
Thanks for the possible info. Sounds good to me. Maybe there aren't any Nationals fans out there!
It was a hitting contest beween the players and the construction workers.

Thanks for the link. I've been wondering about that ever since I saw the Maxwell card.
