I'm off to Europe with my better half for 10 days. We will be spending time in London, Paris, and Rome. We have been saving nickels and dimes for quite a few years to make this trip. When I return, I'll be doing a follow-up to my giveaway from late last year. I'm trying to reduce the ol' collection some more so I am ready to send out more cards.
Just leave a comment with what team you are looking for. You can also leave some brief preferences such as:
1. I have all flagship Topps cards since the dawn of man, so don't send me any.
2. The sight of 1988 Donruss makes me hurl.
3. Cap'n Crunch is a cereal, not a card brand.
4. Anything but Canseco and that Miller kid. Who collects those guys?
5. Please burn all Braves cards so as to not pollute collections across the country.
6. I only collect Astros with pinstripes and mustaches.
etc, etc, etc
You get the point. I will be sending out 50-300 cards per request. If you choose a team that was not chosen last time, you might end up with 800 cards (ex. Giants, Angels, A's, etc) This is a great chance for you to start or build upon your team collection. If you would like to send cards in return, there are 3 options:
1. Send as many cards off of my want list as you care to ship.
2. Send one card of your choice.
3. Send nothing and enjoy!
Tell your friends and neighbors. I'll do my best to accommodate.

How about the Orioles?
I'm collecting Giants cards -- 1994-2007 is where my collection has the most need of help. Thanks :)
I know there are a lot of Indians collectors, so you will have to figure out a way to divide it equitably. In that vein, you can send me cards of every Cleveland HOFer, Sizemore, Vizquel, Belle, Alomar, Alomar, Lofton, Nagy, Sabathia, Charboneau, Thornton, Manning, Carter, Duffy, Veryzer, Kuiper, Baerga, Peralta, Lee, Score, McDowell, Feller, Lajoie, Chapman, Doby, Paige....
OK, OK, how about Vizquel and Sizemore and Victor Martinez? Thanks.
It doesn't seem fair, since I just got a wonderful package from you the other day, but since you are asking...
I collect White Sox, White Sox minor league, Harold Baines, Carlton Fisk, John Cangelosi, Bobby Thigpen, Don Wakamatsu, 2008 Topps Heritage and 2008 Topps Heritage High Numbers cards.
Thanks! Have a great trip!
I would love any D-Backs cards!
I echo Steve. You just sent me something!
But I'm greedy. I'll take Dodgers. Ron Cey, Clayton Kershaw, Orel Hershiser, Sandy Koufax (if you dare), Hideo Nomo, etc. Chances are if it's late '80s/early '90s I'm using it as packing material already.
Oh, love oddballs!
Oh, have a great time in the mother land.
I'll take St. Louis Cardinals. I've got most of everything (once or twice) from the 60's, 70's and 80's, but I didn't buy a lot of cards in the 90's or 00's.
Have a great time and come home safe. (By the way, please don't re-enact the worst Vacation movie of them all.....)
Have a great trip. Check out the Paris Sewer tour if you have time.
I'll give a home to any DBacks you don't send to dkwilson, and also any Byung-Hyun Kim cards, DBacks or otherwise.
I'll take the ashes of the Braves cards. If any other Braves fans out there want to pollute their collection let them have first crack at 'em.
What I'd REALLY like though is anything strange. If it's peel-offable and sticky, or not quite square, or has writing on it or worse or has been die cut or zapped by lasers or cut off a box or made out of plastic or metal or paper or is from a sport with inflated balls and no one else wants 'em I'll give them a home. I want only the cast offs and losers that no one else wants.
Enjoy the trip. I've been to one of those cities and enjoyed myself and I'd like to see the other two one of these days.
Always looking to complete the Mets TTM auto collection, so I'd certainly appreciate anything you'd be willing to send.
I'm always interested in Reds (and cards off my want list since I'm a sucker for completing sets as well)...
if you happen to have any untorched Braves from before 1980 (yeah, I know) or any Braves minor league sets, hit me up. The newer cards can go to newer collectors building their collection..
enjoy the holiday, sounds awesome!
Tampa Bay Devil Rays!!!! Enjoy Europe! Cheers! Troll
Any Reds you have left over after taking care of FanofReds is greatly appreciated. I also collect Griffey (both Sr and Jr) in any uniform.
But please, no 1987-1990 Topps regular set. Unless you're too lazy to go through and pull them out. Which I would completely understand, because I'm pretty lazy too.
I'd love to take some Tigers off your hands although I don't need any Topps base cards from 1986-1991 or 2000-2009 (Traded sets and inserts are OK though). Thanks so much for doing this and enjoy your trip!
Oops--make that Topps base 1986-1997 and 2000-2009 that I don't need (minus traded sets). My mistake!
I would love to request Phillies cards, especially from the eras of 2001-2009 and 1975-1985. Thank you!
I'll take any Brewers cards you might want to cast off. Nothing topps base, I've got those covered since the begining of mankind. Thanks alot!!!
I don't see that anyone else has claimed them yet, so I'd be happy to give any Cubs cards a new home. Thanks much!
MARK!
Where abouts in London? If the Red Sox are available could you put me down for them.
Thanks
Jack
Have a good trip across the pond. The card give-away is very generous. I collect Howard Johnson cards or any other Mets baseball cards.
Really appreciate the offer.
Take care.
Have a safe trip...any Phillies cards you have left (I see someone else requested the also) I'll take off your hands. Thanks
dodgers, such as garvey, cey, russell, lopes, sutton, drysdale, sax, etc.
non-dodgers, such as garvey, cey, lopes, vladimir guerrero, sax, sutton, mauer, and bert blyleven
muchas gracias.
I also collect White Sox Cards, specifically 2000's, and even more specifically, any Mark Buehrle cards.
Thanks for the generosity.
Wow, this is very generous of you.
I mainly collect Hockey Cards. I don't suppose you got any of those mixed into your collection that you want to get rid of?
As for baseball, I would love a complete team set of the Cubs or White Sox from the 1980s or 1990s. Doesn't matter what year--it can even be late 80s/early 90s.
However, I don't need Topps sets for 1985 Cubs, 1989 Cubs, 1989 White Sox or 1990 White Sox.
A Cubs or White Sox team set from any other year, or any year of a non-Topps brand, would be awesome, and greatly appreciated by this non-baseball collector.
Thank you.
Wow... I wish I was going to Europe... heck I wish I had a better half. Anyways... have a great trip. If the A's haven't been taken, I'd be interested in them.
Looking for some motivation to move from former to current collector. Spend a good deal of time reading through different baseball card blogs, but haven't been able to overcome the urge to remain a reader. Please assist!
Rays if there are any to spare, especially Carl Crawford and David Price. Enjoy Europe. Beer in London is excellent! Also, great Indian food.
I would love any Red Sox you might have left after Jackhardly h's package. I have any late 90s Red Sox so anything you might send would be appreciated.
Hmmm. I was going to ask for some D-backs, but they have been requested. Twice. Then, I was going to ask for Orel Hershiser, but Mr. Owl claimed him. Then I was going to ask for the Orioles, just to have something to trade with Beardy. They were the first to be claimed.
Carl Erskine or Earl Wilson would be my next two choices. Yeah, slim pickens when you get in late.
Thanks for the offer, though.
I would love to take any of those Angels cards off your hands.
I am trying to catch up on Blue Jays and Cubs team sets I missed out on while not collecting. Anything you could spare from 1996-2008 would be appreciated.
I like the reds but they have been asked for twice. How bout the Yankees.
Looks like Tigers are taken, so a second choice would be Royals. I have plenty of 80s and 90s topps. I also really love oddballs of any teams.
Boy, I would love just about anything, but Cardinal, Orioles and Mets float my boat!
I would be interested in any non-Cardinals Jim Edmonds, Darryl Kile or Chris Carpenter cards. Also, if there are any unclaimed Cardinals cards from any traded/update sets if they aren't spoken for already.
I collect only football cards.
Have fun.
As a Yankee fan of course I want them, but I am up for just about anything you have left over.
Thanks!
Bo
i collect darryl strawberry, randy johnson, ichiro, portland trailblazers, and i have some want lists for some 2009 topps, 2009 american heritage, 2008 upper deck x and 1969 topps... but really, i would be happy with anything!
I am a HUUUGE collector of Mike Pelfrey of the New York Mets! I also Like Daniel Murphy and Bobby Parnell! Thanks and god bless!
I'll take whatever you feel like throwing together. Surprise me. :-P
any pre-1989 blue jays would be greatly appreciated. i can also provide a good home for any random cards depicting players wearing glasses. thanks.
If there are any to be had I'd take any Youkilis, Ortiz, Ellsbury or Jason Varitek cards you would have left.
And if that fails and you have basketball I'd take any Charlotte Bobcats cards you're willing to give.
I would love any Yankees. Especially any older ones or Mattinglys.
I'd be interested in any Washington Nationals cards. Have fun on vacation.
It looks like you have a few folks claiming Blue Jays....so failing them...... how about some old school Pittsburgh Pirates....I may have a few more off of your wantlists!
I'd love to have some Braves. Any type or any sort. Or the newer ones as I think someone wants the older ones. If someone else has claimed them (I tried to read all the comments, but I sometimes miss things.) I can take the rejects. Or heck, if they have been all claimed.. I'll give the Twins a whirl. I don't think they have been claimed.
I missed out on this last time but would like to participate this time. How about any Tigers you wish to part with or any Mark McGwire's you don't want. (Hey somebody has to collect the cards of these guys.)
I see that the Cubs have already been claimed, but I'd like any extras. I'm particularly into Sandberg and Grace of the older Cubs and Theriot now. Also, the oddballer the better, especially with Sandberg! Thanks. I'll try to find something off your want list too.
I see someone is already claiming the Angels, but if there are any extras lying around, I'd love to have them sent my way. We just moved, so finding them will take a bit, but I think we might just have a couple of things from your Masterpieces/Goudey lists. I'll start digging through the closet of boxes to see. Thanks, and hope you had a great trip!
hello... hapi blogging... have a nice day! just visiting here....
If you have any new or old Harmon Killebrew cards I'd love to have them. Also I do like non-baseball subjects from baseball sets.
Thanks.
Hello---I've been collecting off and on since the 60's, and I realize I have a big gap in Topps cards from 1985-1990. I realize now that those were the years when about eight huge life events went on, all crammed into 5 years (graduate LS, looked for job, found job, met wife, dated wife, married wife, baby #1, looked for different job, found different job, baby #2, went from parents house to apartment to rental house, to buying house)....wooh, in 1991 I started to catch my breath and got back into collecting----so, I'd appreciate any 85-90 Topps, naturally Indians (lifelong Clevelander), but Orioles, A's, Phillies and Twins have been favorites. Thanks! (I'll send address) ---Reggie Dunlop
If you've got any Fred McGriffs, I'd love em!
Man, I have got to get off Facebook and get to reading blogs!
If you still have any, I'd love to have any Tribers you want to send, or if you're feeling up to a bit of weirdness, send me anything you'd like to see in a future rendition of Random Packs of Kindness and I'll toss them in there, giving you full credit for the bounty. :-)
Late as hell but better late then never....lol Any Marlin cards left??
Any Tigers or 1988 issues (D,F,T,S) we would gladly take.
